Why it exists
Tricking athletes deserve activities too.
DFDub is excited to share this event with Top Kick, a taekwondo school that has tricking athletes. DFDSG2 gives athletes a clear place to compete, test themselves, learn from one another, and get recognized.
The games include speed rounds, skill-count challenges, paddle races, youth and teen battles, and an endurance finale. Athletes do not need to be perfect. They need to be ready to move, try, and compete.

Most Tornado
Athletes have one minute to land qualifying tornado kicks on a stationary paddle.

Tricking Bee
A spelling-bee-style trick challenge where athletes attempt matching tricks as the difficulty rises.

Paddle Kicking
A control and accuracy challenge using assigned kicks to a paddle target.

Most Monkey Flips
Athletes have one minute to complete qualifying monkey flips with hips passing over the head.

Fastest Tornado Kicks
Head-to-head race to 10 qualifying tornado kicks. First to two points wins the match.

Athletes have one minute to complete qualifying back flips from two feet.

Refunds and waiver
All sales are final. Refunds are not guaranteed and may be issued only at DFDub's discretion. If DFDub Summer Games is not held, participant and spectator purchases will be refunded. A release of liability and assumption of risk is required during registration.

Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk
DFDub Summer Games involves tricking, martial arts movement, tumbling, jumping, kicking, flipping, spinning, and other athletic activities that can result in serious injury, including bodily injury, property damage, permanent disability, paralysis, or death. By registering, I confirm that I am the participant or the participant's parent/legal guardian, that participation is voluntary, and that I understand and accept these risks. I agree that the participant enters and participates at their own risk. To the fullest extent allowed by Texas law, I release, waive, discharge, and agree not to sue DFDub Tricking LLC, Top Kick, their owners, coaches, instructors, staff, volunteers, contractors, and event partners for any claims, injuries, damages, losses, or expenses arising from participation in or attendance at DFDub Summer Games, including claims arising in whole or in part from ordinary negligence. I accept full responsibility for any injury to person or damage to property connected with participation or attendance.
